A delightful clear cased opaline tube vase, hand painted in the Chinese style with birds, a dragon fly, flowers and trellis work, all of the latter highlighted with gilt; the vase is further embellished with fill patterns to the rim, base and body. Circa 1900, probably by Legras, France. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.

Dimensions: Height 17cm/6.75in.
