A most attractive crystal cameo preserve or sugar box of compressed cylindrical form, decorated with a running fruiting blackberry bough over a graduated cranberry to clear ground. The box has a peacock feather and acorn decorated brass cover, brass collar and arched swing handle. Circa 1900, the container probably by Baccarat, the decoration by Moser, assumption based on examples of similar work sold at Sothebys in 1997 and found in Moser Artistic Glass Edition 2, by Gary D. Baldwin, The Glass Press 1997, page 102.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: Circa 2žin/5.7cm high excluding cover, 5žin/13.3cm diameter.
