A moulded clear glass flared bowl and hollow pedestal base provide the background for a colourful hand painted hunting diorama in the historismus manner, featuring two huntsmen on horseback, their dog, and two sets of fleeing stags and deer, the whole in a country setting with three tall trees and undergrowth; the base of the bowl is embellished with a wavy dotted band in black. Circa 1930s, probably produced in Steinschönau, acid marked "Czecho Slovacie" to the base. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.

Dimensions: Height 8cm/3.25in, width 21cm/8.5in.
