Antique Silver and Amber Glass Scent Bottle made in Florence |

An amber glass scent bottle with silver lid stopper and held within a silver filigree fitted cage which has impressed maker's mark of G. Accarisi, Firenze. The silver filigree work is beautifully worked to depict trailing ivy fronds and berries fitting the neck and body of the glass bottle and is raised on four slender pad feet. The blown glass bottle has a smooth grounded pontil on the base and is held neatly within the silver cage, which is removable. The silver topped stopper contains a fitted cork stopper which appears not to have been used. A beautiful piece of workmanship from Florence, Italy from the late 19th-early 2oth century and in great condition.
