FLORAL ENAMELLED PORCELAIN SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE |

A pretty circular porcelain scent bottle, with a cork lined silver screw top. The blue ground body has a central red band hand painted with a grape cluster, blooms and leaves; there are further heart shape yellow and green leaves on the blue ground, as well as a black design highlighted with gilt to the base. The silver top is engraved with entwined letters, possibly "JH". Silver top hallmarked for Birmingham 1888, maker's mark "CM" for Charles May. Article measured in centimetres and rounded up or down to the nearest quarter inch.
