KUBASTA is of course the master of the pop-up. This single spread is in large format. The front boards carry a Kubasta illustration showing the Ark and numerous comic characters. Top right and bottom right corners are slightly clipped but not affecting the KUBASTA signature bottom right.The two spines are blue linen original binding.Inside cover has a two tone picture of Noah addressing the animals. Eight printed pages giving the story of the Ark. Full coloured board illustrated with animals walking two by two away from the Ark. Opens into a double spread model of the Ark, one revolving wheel. Moving tab, opening door. Back board shows the animals on the Ark and Noah fishing. Kubasta signature again. THIS IS A VERY HARD TO FIND EXAMPLE OF KUBASTA'S WORK.
