THE FLYING TRUNK is another fine example of Kubasta's paper engineering. This Bancroft 1st edition is complete with the movement tag on the front cover, opening and shutting the trunk.. The same tab works the first pop-up inside. Next scene water fall in Turkey.Next scene is the princess in the swinging hammock.Then we meet the Sultan and Sultana in the palace, Next scene kitchen with two movement tabs, then view from the kitchen window with the opening and closing box of matches, The departure of the trunk with the fireworks is next, a moving tab. Last scene is a beautiful moon-light scene showing the princess's distress.
