This amusing and somewhat saucy cigar cutter originated from Germany in the early 1900's. It's stamped Gesetzlich Geschutzt (legally protected or officially patented) to the interior and takes the form of a female cyclist in knickerbockers wearing a pill box hat and a rather determined expression. There are sexual overtones to this piece as can be seen from the positioning and the action of the cutter!
