Here is a sword stick/cane, this is a rather old one which I have been told dates from around 1860, measures 37ins long, the blade is 28ins long, it has a twist locking mechasism,the blade is stained (not rust) and will clean up nicely, the malacca shaft has some age related sealed splits, and is fully intact, no loose splits, a good item for the collector..PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ANTIQUE SWORD STICKS ARE FOR THE COLLECTOR FOR THE ENJOYMENT IN THEIR OWN HOMES, AND ARE ILLEGAL TO CARRY IN PUBLIC PLACES..
