A late 19th centuary walking cane with concealed short plunge dagger, the blade of square form in steel enclosed in the length of the bamboo cane. The knop in silver bearing the hallmark for london 1899, the makers mark is indistinct. The peice in very original condition, and having the unusual feature of having the blade attach to the shaft with a screw on attachment,the knop in the form of stippled pomegranate and foliat band. A point to remember regarding sword sticks is that it is illegal to walk with them in the street, but not illegal to own them, they are a concealed weapon..
