# 63291 Vic Infantry Field Officers 1845 Pattern Sword

A Vic infantry field officers 1845 pattern sword, slightly curved, fullered blade 32, by Buckmaster, No 15027, etched with crowned VR cypher, R Arms and motto in scrolled panel on one side, and Union spray and oak/laurel leaf panel on the other with blank escutcheon, regulation triple bar hilt with turned down inner portion and crowned VR cypher, wire bound fishskin grip, in its brass scabbard, with leather knot. Basically GC (some wear overall, inscriptions at forte mostly worn away, minor scabbard dents) Plate 7
