 | AN EARLY 20TH-CENTURY GUSTAV BECKER MAHOGANY-CASED TWO-TRAIN MANTEL CLOCK having an arched hood, the bevelled door between spindle-form columns on a plinth base and metal bun feet, the movement stamped GB flanking a crowned anchor, also R over P12, striking the half-hours on a coiled gong, the silvered arched dial with subsidiary slow/fast ring, the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, the centre inscribed 'Ex'd by S Smith & Son Ltd, Trafalgar Roman Square, London', 25.5cm, (10in) high (sold with key).

| A GREEN & GOLD LACQUER LONG CASE CLOCK, with thirty hour movement, the circular painted dial with copper and iron studs forming the chapter with colour transfer painted strips between, the centre copper studded with star and flower head motifs and colour transfer printed nasturtium flowers, the George III case having a square hood with swan neck pediment and circular glass, the trunk having a shaped door with Japanese figures, birds, butterflies etc., the angles with fluted quadrant pillars, the base with projecting panel with similar motifs to door, on a shaped plinth.
