Login to view imagesFairey Swordfish. A wood and composite constructed example of this Royal Navy biplane torpedo bomber, Reg. No. HS158, finished in grey over off-white, with cockpit details, bracing wires, fixed control surfaces, rotating three-blade propeller, undercarriage and dummy torpedo, 22.5 in (57 cm) wingspan. It is understood that this model was originally built by the Blackburn Aviation Co. and kept as a 'builders model' in the Engineers Office. Later it was presented to a Blackburn test pilot and ultimately passed to a member of ground crew. The vendors note accompanies the model for sale. (1)
