An Unusual Caneware and White Stoneware Part Chess Set, the caneware examples comprising a knight as an English cavalryman on horseback of the Peninsular War period, and three pawns as standing infantrymen, the white pieces comprising two bishops and queen in royal robes, probably second quarter of 19th century, {the tallest 7cm} (several with slight chips).
