A Rare Wedgwood mug, made to commemorate the opening of a new electrically fired tunnel oven at Barlaston and from the first firing Biscuit & Glost, Summer 1940, the shape is by Keith Murray and decorative elements designed by Victor Skellern printed in puce and showing the pottery complex on the reverse, 12cm. high, commemorative details as backstamp on base.
