An 18th century Dutch box, the hinged cover and base inset with medals by Martin Holtzhey, dated 1748, the base with Princess Caroline, the cover with conjoined busts of William IV of orange and Princess Anne, initialled FDH, with an indistinct maker's mark, Amsterdam 1750, the interior fitted with a later vesta striker, 0.9in (2.4cm) high.
