A highly unusual pine table base, imaginatively carved as the gnarly trunk of an oak tree sprouting leaves and acorns, having two separately carved birds attached to branches, the exposed sinuous roots resting on an asymmetric rocky base, the upper branches and trunk, flattened evenly to support a top, possibly glass (now missing), 72cm. high.
