The ADA is an association with expertise in Antiquities of the Ancient World, from Egypt, Europe, the Near East and the Classical World and represents professional dealers (and auction specialists) of antiquities in the UK.

Since its inception in 1974, LAPADA's membership has grown to over 600 members making it the largest association of professional art and antiques dealers in the United Kingdom. Although the majority of its membership is UK based, LAPADA also currently has 50 members in 16 other countries. Membership is only open to those who meet the Association's requirements as to experience, quality of stock and knowledge of their subject. Between them, members cover virtually every discipline from antiquities to contemporary fine art.

The British Antique Dealers' Association (BADA) is the trade association for the leading antique dealers in Britain. Since its foundation in 1918 BADA has set the standard for trading in the antiques business. The Cotswold Art & Antique Dealers' Association (CADA) was formed in 1978 to promote a fair and high standard of trading. Our membership comprises of 37 dealers of knowledge, integrity and reputation. The expertise within the membership spans a wide variety of art and antiques, and many of our members are world renown specialists in their field. This reassurance enables the public to buy and sell in confidence, a long standing tradition we are proud of.

Since its foundation in 1969 the IADA has set the standard for trading in the antiques business in Ireland. The IADA’s main aim is to establish and maintain confidence between its members and the public in buying and selling. There are currently approximately 80 IADA members countrywide.
